09:28 pm: the nice thing about grabbing a bee while you are weeding is that it makes everything else that is bugging you dwindle for a while

i say bee though i didnt see a bee it could have been a yellowjacket but i think there is a stinger still in my thumb maybe there is a dark spot not raised above the skin as far as my old eyes can tell my thumb is not going to let the tweezers poke at it

If you see any dot at all use a razor or something to scrape across it rather than tweezers. Do it. It will make the recovery faster because the bee stinger keeps dumping in stuff for many hours afterwards until removed. Tweezers tend to squeeze it and make the situation worse.
